Leo and Diletta, a beautiful Italian couple originally from Tuscany, have made Capri the backdrop for their incredible wedding. A true family affair – their closest family and friends coming together to celebrate love and everything that marriage stands for.
It’s been an honour and an incredible pleasure to be the ones chosen to be by their side to plan this meaningful day for, and with, them.
Leo and Diletta wanted a day that not only reflected the importance of family, but that also spoke of the luscious nature of this beautiful island. Together we devised a concept with yellow touches – and when you do yellow, you cannot help but introduce one of the symbols of our stunning mediterranean land: lemons and lemon trees.
This zesty colour palette served as the floral concept throughout the whole day. From the ceremony to the dinner table, we injected green and yellow touches throughout every element of the decor. We are so pleased with the results, as this palette works so wonderfully against the all-blue sea views our couple got to enjoy, both from their ceremony spot and their reception venue!
And talking about ceremony spot… when you choose our beloved Anacapri, breathtaking views are a guarantee. And Leo and Diletta couldn’t have picked a better place for their civil ceremony: the Belvedere Migliera. Set at the edge of a cliff, overlooking the most beautiful Mediterranean Sea, this ceremony was the perfect location for their intimate “I Do”. Luckily for us, the local town hall had already set it up with benches, so all we had to do was inject it with floral details in keeping with our theme.
As the ceremony ended, our couple with their party of 30 took a stroll to another breathtaking spot: their wedding reception. Steeped in nature, surrounded by vineyards and the sea, their pool-side table was set up at the edge of a beautiful cliff. As the sun was setting our guests were welcome by a long imperial table dressed with baskets of lemons and miniature lemon trees, an abundance of wild flowers and greenery and candles for the perfect romantic outdoor atmosphere.
Mixing rustic with mediterranean touches, every detail was studied to create and elegant yet informal atmosphere, including a refreshing lemonade station as well as a pretty dessert set up with wine barrels and naked wood.
Leo and Diletta’s wedding is the proof that not every wedding needs to be opulent or extravagant. Intimate weddings, with well thought-out details in keeping with the natural backdrop, are all about simplicity. What truly shines through is the values and personalities of our beautiful couples, something that always make a wedding planner excited!
