When is the best time to get married in Capri?
Wedding season in Capri is from May to mid-October. June and September offer longer days, mild temperatures, and beautiful foliage making this the most ideal time for a wedding. Generally, we recommend avoiding the month of August as the island is crowded and extremely hot.
How much does a wedding in Capri cost?
Wedding cost is dependent on many factors including how many guests, venue, food and beverage, entertainment, and custom favours to name a few. After a decade of experience planning luxurious, multi-day wedding events, we can confidently advise to have a budget of no less than 1300 Euro per guest for the wedding day (to start from). A higher budget allows us to not only deliver the best quality for the event itself, but to pamper your guests who have travelled far to be part of your special celebration! In addition to the wedding day, many of our guests opt to plan a welcome dinner, boat rides/other activities, gift baskets and a post wedding brunch. When planning a destination wedding, it’s very important to provide an elevated experience for your guests – one that makes them think “this is the most amazing event I’ve ever been to!”. When it comes to cost, we guide you with full transparency and create a bespoke proposal for your overall wedding investment.
How many weddings do you curate a year?
To provide our clients with the highest standard of care, Capri Moments exclusively accepts a maximum of 5 full client plans per wedding season.
Where exactly are you located?
We were both born and raised on the island of Capri and currently reside in Anacapri.
How many people work at Capri Moments?
Capri Moments is made up of its two founders, Fabrizia and Maria Consilia who executed all big weddings and events. Additionally, Capri Moments has a team of assistants who provide support for elopements, micro-weddings, and smaller events.
Do you negotiate the best prices for us?
We have strong relationships with our vendors which we’ve nurtured over the years and are happy to ask for the best prices. We always work 100% in the best interest of our clients at every step of the planning process. We create a budget that is updated along the way, which you will always have access to check costs. As Capri locals, we’ll also provide guidance on things you should invest in, and where to save money.
What is the ideal number of guests?
We have designed weddings of all sizes, including elopements and small gatherings. Given the intimate, laid-back vibe of Capri, we recommend keeping your guest list to 150 people or less.
How long in advance should I contact you?
As they say, sooner is always better! We recommend getting in touch 12-18 months in advance. After our initial consultation and confirmation of our services, we always invite clients to visit the island (if possible) to explore possible venues together. If a visit to the island is not possible, allow us to be your feet and eyes! As locals, it’s easy for us to scout locations and send photos & video so you can make the best decision. Once the venue is chosen and booked, our creative process can begin!
For elopements, clients may contact us 2-6 months in advance. We can also orchestrate marriage proposal events in as little as one week.
Do you only work with specific suppliers?
We have a trusted network of vendors with whom we’ve established exceptional relationships over the years. Of course we love to recommend our beloved suppliers, however are happy to work with other professionals to best suit the tastes and needs of our couples.The success of your event is the most important detail of all!
Do you only work on Capri?
We primarily organize events on Capri, but can accommodate events on the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Peninsula.
How many will you be on the day of the event?
From set up to take down, we will be present at all wedding events to coordinate with vendors and ensure everything is running smoothly. We don’t count hours on your wedding weekend! For weddings of 100 guests or more, we will also bring on our assistants at key times to ensure you & your guests have the best experience possible.
Do you only organize weddings?
No! We really do organize every detail of your multi-day celebration including:
- Private transfer service from Rome/Naples airport or train station (by car, boat, helicopter, or taxi)
- Booking beauty & spa services at hotels or local salons
- Ironing and sewing assistance
- Coordinating weekend activities such as cooking classes, yoga/pilates, tennis, boat tours, etc.)
- Managing specific guest requests
- Ongoing communication with guests who are staying on the island via WhatsApp (where they can ask for tips & info)
We also plan elopements, marriage proposals, and other special events.
