Wedding on Capri – Mireli & Nick

 The charm of Capri also hit Mireli & Nick. After a short holiday on the island in fact, our spouses decided that yes, this was the perfect place to host their wedding.  How could it be otherwise?

Capri is certainly one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean.  It offers tremendous beauty: art, culture, breathtaking views, the clear azure sea, untouched nature, the warmth of the people, and excellent cuisine. So, after a lots of emails and phone calls Mireli & Nick said “I Do” on July 11th 2014. For them we organized a fantastic symbolic ceremony by the sea in one of the most emotional locations of Capri: the Lighthouse of Punta Carena.

Here you can enjoy the sun from sunrise to sunset and the breathtaking view offers different scenarios each time. After the ceremony friends and family tasted typical Capri specialties like “pizzelle” and fried ravioli, freshly prepared by the “pacchiane”,  old housewives and paesants custodian of the oldest caprese culinary tradition. Candles, hydrangeas, roses and viburnum gave an elegant atmosphere to reception space where dinner was served.

After the speeches of the groom and the best man … everybody on dance floor wearing a pair of havaianas personalized with the initials of the names of the couple. A nice cadeau to take home for the guests. Funny photos were instead immortalized with the Polaroid.

The many pictures, placed in an album, were donated to the spouses as a memory of this unforgettable day. And the cake?

A delicious millefoglie with mixed berries in perfect “Italian style”.
